About the work

Wiegenlied is a lyrical pop lullaby for female voice and piano, lasting about three minutes. Its musical language is intimate and restrained, allowing the vocal line to unfold above a transparent piano texture. The piece is conceived not as a conventional children’s song, but as a private musical address — tender, protective and touched by vulnerability.
